Dr. Rajesh. M joined the Department of English in June,2016. He has over two decades of experience in teaching and research in various colleges and universities in and outside Kerala. He obtained his doctorate in Postcolonial Studies/Cultural Studies from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in 2014 for the thesis entitled Cultural Motifs in Epistemological Transition: A NeoColonial Reading of Chinua Achebe’s Anthills of the Savannah and Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness. He has published extensively in national and international journals, edited academic books for colleges and universities, held workshops and conferences of both national and International repute and made presentations in national and International seminars.

Dr. Rajesh M is an approved Research Guide under Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and currently four scholars are pursuing their Ph.D., under his guidance.

His areas of interest and expertise include Post-colonial Literature(s), Cultural Studies, Translation theory and Research, Refugee Narratives, Para-Textual studies, Human Rights Literature and Food and Literature.
